Refresh Your Shoes

My sweet little doodle bug is quite hard on her shoes.  She drug them all behind her as she was crawling, and now as she is becoming a toddler, dirty shoes just will not do.  

 In order to clean her shoes, I just took a little bit of fingernail polish remover on a paper towel & rubbed the dickens out of her shoes.  The shoe on the right is the finished effect.  It looks practically brand new.  It works beautifully on leather or rubber soles of shoes, just watch out for canvas...it will stain them.

This method might not be the greenest, but it makes shoes look brand new & certainly prevents me from going out and buying new shoes.  And that definitely saves lots of green.
